Nokia 3310 Phone Gets A Premium 'Vladimir Putin' Gold Edition; See Its Price & Other Details By Abe Narra | Mar 10, 2017 10:01 AM EST How cool is the Russian President Vladimir Putin? The Nokia 3310 has a "premium" version that features his embossed face. You read that right. A Russian company produced a premium version of the Nokia 3310 and they made it a premium handset that features the face of the machismo, bear-riding leader of Russia, News 18 has reported. Unlike the Nokia 3310 that would have a budget-friendly price that would hit the shelves in markets worldwide soon, the premium version of the smartphone could empty your wallet. The phone would have the price tag of RUB 99,000 or $1702 for a gold and titanium version called "Supremo Putin." RTBH has reported that the "Supremo Putin" version of the Nokia 3310 would also come with gold playing and it is housed in a dotted titanium body. It would be complete with Putin's face in gold on the back of the phone. The national anthem of Russia is also embossed on a gold plate in the premium version of Nokia 3310. The phone is made by the Russian company called "Caviar", which is known to the public for making a radically artistic iteration of various smartphones on the market. In other news, the 2017 version of the iconic and nostalgic Nokia 3310 is expected to hit the store shelves by the end of May in India. This was confirmed by HMD Global's Vice President for India Ajey Mehta. Despite the device's limitations in terms of supported network brands, India Today has reported that the Nokia 3310 is expected to work in good condition in India. The phone is deemed to be practically useless in countries like US, Canada, and some other regions that do not support old bands like 900MHz and 1800MHz. Even if there is a low probability for the phone to work in regions that could not support old bands, they still have other markets to cater to. The Nokia 3310 will be available in Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East soon. What are your thoughts on the Nokia 3310 with Putin's face embossed on the phone's rear?
