From the title of the expansion alone, players get to send their Sims to universities with the emphasis on sharpening their minds and skills. The school will apparently be in session with the upcoming “Sims 4” expansion pack, hitting the books that should help jack up the individual skills of Simmers. Like in the modern day, heading onto universities will have its share of side attractions such as building new relationships as mentioned on a Reddit post. Speaking of relationships, “The Sims 4: On Campus” add-on will also test how wells Sims are able to interact under the tutelage of a professor. Getting good grades will be a goal plus other things in university life such as dealing with bullies and joining organizations for a certain cause or protest. Right now, EA has yet to officially announce a release date for the new school-themed content that should add more spice to life-simulation gamers. The latest “On Campus” add-on should add another dimension to players hooked on to the life-simulation game “The Sims 4”. It follows the “The Sims 4: Vampires DLC which came out on January 24, 2017. That DLC allowed players to venture into the world of the supernatural, adding a unique story-telling opportunities and of course live forever according to thesims.com. Other expansions on the horizon reportedly include “The Sims 4” placing better emphasis on pets. This adds more responsibilities for Simmers and gamers, all spotted by data miners through a “Create-a-Pet” mode as mentioned in a previous post. With no word yet on the progress of “The Sims 5”, these innovations to “The Sims 4” will have to do for now.
