Samsung Galaxy Book Vs. Surface Pro 4: Which Is Better? It is their answer to various competitors like the Surface Pro 4 from Windows. PC Advisor has reported that the Samsung Galaxy Book is a 2-in-1 tablet that could also work as your laptop. The Galaxy Book would also run with a Windows 10 operating system. The Samsung Galaxy Book is also bundled with a stylus and keyboard case. CNET has reported that the Galaxy Book is one of the latest product to jump on the bandwagon of having that bundle. One of the known products with the same features is the Surface Pro 4. With this, how did the Samsung Galaxy Book fare against the other product? Price As its launch at the Mobile World Congress, there is still no price announced for the Samsung Galaxy Book. In a different article by the PC Advisor, they said that it is relatively safe to predict that the product would not be more expensive than Surface Pro 4. Currently, the Surface Pro 4 with 256 GB, 8 GB RAM, and Intel Core i7e almost costs $1,600 at Amazon. The publication has said that in terms of price, it is better to compare Samsung Galaxy Book with the upcoming Surface Pro 5. Specs The Samsung Galaxy Book sports with 12in Super AMOLED display, 2160x1440 216ppi; 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, 3.1 GHz; 4GB/8GB; 128GB/256GB; 2x USB-X, Video output via USB C and MiscroSD reader. It also has 802 11ac Wi-Fi, LTE model, Bluetooth 4.1, 5Mp front camera, 13Mp rear camera, Pogo Keyboard, S Pen, and 291.x199.8x7.4mm. The Surface Pro 4 has the same specs with the Samsung Galaxy Book except for these features. A 12.3in display, 2736x1824, 267ppi; up to 6th Gen Intel Core i7, 16GB Ram, 512GB storage, USB 3.0, and Mini-DisplayPort. Unlike its competitor, it has no LTE and its Bluetooth model is only 4.0 The rear camera is also smaller, with only 8MP. Battery Life The Samsung Galaxy Book could consume 10 hours of battery life since most Samsung products are like that. The Surface Pro 4 could consume battery life for 11 hours. Samsung has yet to announce the battery life of the Samsung Galaxy Book since the usual 10-hour battery life cannot be considered as conservative for now.
