These are the Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy A7 (2016), and Galaxy A5 (2016, according to Android Authority. Besides those six Galaxy gadgets, to use Samsung Pay in India, the phone owner must also be a credit or debit card holder of five banks that support Samsung Pay. The five banks are HDFC Bank, SBI Cards, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank, 9To5Google reports. The Paytm wallet accounts could also be added. The six Samsung smartphone use both NFC and Magnetic Secure Transmission that allow Indians to pay for products and services at supported retailers across India using their smartphones. The inclusion of MST means Indians could use the payment services in most shops which have MST that is compatible with the majority of card readers. Registration Process. Gadgets 360 says that American Express and Citi Bank would also support Samsung Pay soon. For Indians who did not sign up for early access, they would need to register at https://www.samsung.com/in/samsung-pay/obt/#registernow. Then they s make sure the Samsung Pay app is installed. If the app is not in their app drawer, their Samsung gadget must be on the latest software version. The next step to use Samsung Pay is to add the Samsung Account ID through Settings --> Accounts --> Add Samsung Account. The Samsung Pay app icon would appear, enabling them to download and install the app. Registration is done only once. It could be accomplished using the Samsung Account ID and password or register fingerprint by tapping Use Fingerprint to set up Samsung Pa PIN for payment authentication.
