LG Stylo 2 Speculated To Have Android Nougat Update

South Korean tech company LG seems to have their LG Stylo 2 Plus will have the Android Nougat operating system soon. This speculation was created after model number LG-K530 was seen on a GeekBench benchmarking website.

What does this mean? LG might be testing the LG Stylo 2 Plus with Android Nougat operating system and it might be released the same for the device soon.

Meenu Rana of The Mobile Indian said in her report that the Geekbench list shows the specs of the LG Stylo 2. It shows the same specs when it was first launched but this time, it shows Android 7.0 Nougat as its operating system. Originally, the device was launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

According to the GeekBench listing, the LG Stylo Plus got 581 points in the single-core test. In the muli-core test, it received 2017 points.

The LG Stylo 2 Plus is equipped with 2GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 GHz octa-core processor. The current handset is based on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

GSM Arena has also reported that besides from the LG Stylo Plus, the LG Stylus 2 has 5.7-inch full HD display powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. It also comes with two variants: one with 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and the other one with 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. The variants mentioned are expandable memory slot.

Comparing to the LG Stylo Plus, the LG Stylus 2 still runs with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with LG UI 5.0 on top of it and has a decente 3,000 mAh removable battery. The device also has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

So far, the large South Korean tech conglomerate has yet to confirm if the phone is really getting an Android Nougat update. Stay tune for more updates about LG and other gadgets and updates.
