'Battlefield: Bad Company 2' Vietnam Expansion Presently FREE On Xbox One/360

The one and only expansion for the "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" is presently available for free on Xbox. DICE's well-received 2010 FPS "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" is currently half off on multiple platforms, with its Vietnam expansion the game will be completely free on at least one system.

EA has confirmed that the Vietnam expansion for the "Battlefield: Bad Company 2", which usually goes for $14.99, is now free of charge. Gamers can add the additional maps to game without paying anything extra, according to WWG.

"Battlefield: Bad Company 2" Vietnam expansion is free on the Live Marketplace. "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" is one of the many backward compatible games on Xbox One, so lifting this will let you experience it on your newer console. Additionally, to giving away the highly rated expansion, the main game is on sale for $10, so now anyone without a copy can also get the "complete" experience for a small chunk of change.

EA is also holding a sale on the PC version via Origin. While Vietnam isn't being given away, you can steal both the base game and the expansion for 50% off. This leaves "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" at $9.99 and Vietnam at $7.49. However, the "Digital Deluxe" version is also half-off at $14.99.

"Bad Company 2," an Xbox 360/PS3/PC title which is now part of EA Access and is backwards compatible on Xbox One, only received the one expansion pack. Now, you can pick it up for free if you're on Xbox, as reported by VG247.

The "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" Vietnam expansion boasts four maps taken directly from the 60's, as well as 15 different weapons and six vehicles. In addition to this, there is also special music of the time, including Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son," the lyrics of the track are about the Vietnam War. "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" is available right now for Xbox One/360 and Origin PC.
