‘Haikyuu!!' Chapter 242, Chapter 243 Spoilers: Karasuno Scores A Big Win; Faces Tough Opponent & Dilemma With Player Development By Van D | Feb 27, 2017 07:50 AM EST In the latest chapter, one of the most intense matches that Karasuno High has ever been to has finally been settled. Their most recent match was against Tsubakihara Academy and took place in the Spring High National Tournament. The match only lasted for two sets, but it was still quite long and went on for some chapters. In Chapter 242, the last parts of the match against Tsubakihara were continued. Koshi Sugawara served the ball for Karasuno and, later on, met at the second set with 24-23 with Karasuno leading. It looks like things are going smooth at this point. However, any small mistake might make the momentum work against them. Fortunately, Sugawara was observant as he had always been and he had calculated everything in advance when he gave the first serve. He was nervous, though. He may have a lot to carry on his shoulders and this led Sugawara to reflect at this crucial moment. He was elated that he and his fellow third years Asahi Azumane and Daichi Sawamura were able to reach the Spring High National Tournament, which is an impressive feat. Although they have not won the national levels yet, they already felt as if they have been achieving a lot as high school volleyball players. After their win, they get set to face another well-reputed team from another district. Which team this remains a mystery. Karasuno draws closer to being the champion in the Nationals and the team surely has gained the love of the whole of Japan for being the dark horse. However, this popularity might not last long if they get too cocky. Despite being promising, there is still a big chance that they will lose in Chapter 243, considering that they barely won against Tsubakihara. Karasuno may be promising as a team, but there are many others in their category that are also good. This also means that they will have to develop their skills just in time because many of their players will be graduating soon. Although there is this chance that they might lose, everyone knows that they will put up a good fight and will work very hard to emerge as champions.
