‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: Special Items Or Evolution Stones Being Cashed Out At PokeStops By Joseph Patrick | Feb 26, 2017 07:38 AM EST Following the release of “Pokemon Go” Gen 2 last week, lots of improvements await augmented reality players. Many have probably come across the new breed of monsters from Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver but there are of course more features to look forward to. One of the popular new things folks can do for “Pokemon Go” include the acquisition of special items or evolution stones. These are cashed out through PokeStops, meaning players who want to get hold of them need to go out and spin the icons to get the goodies. Once attained, the next thing most want to know is how to put these new special items to good use. Take note that in order to get these new “Pokemon Go” special items, a player needs to be at least level 10. This will be the only time they can get hold of the special item drops from PokeStops. But what do they exactly offer? To find out, players need to sure they have the ample amount of Pokemon Candy to see how the new evolutions work, Slash Gear reported. There are plenty of evolutions to expect on “Pokemon Go” Gen 2. The list includes Sun Stone, King’s Rock, and Metal Coat. Up-grade and Dragon Scale are included as well but work only on Porygon and Seadra respectively, Games Radar reported. The new evolutions don’t really shy away from the traditional ones from the previous version of “Pokemon Go” so everything should be pretty easy to figure out. Bear in mind that these new evolution stones are rare items on “Pokemon Go”, Pokemon Go Informer reported. They are hard to come by with Pokemon Go Informer claiming that 33 evolution items were dropped from 23,071 items from PokeStops. There is no cheat (for now) on how to get hold of them – meaning the only way is to play as often as possible.
