Advantages of This Flying Pokémon By Ralphy Bonn Sim | Feb 26, 2017 07:36 AM EST The Second Generation of "Pokémon Go" has recently released including Hoothoot as one of the most common Pokémon all over the place. There is a little advantage that is equipped by Noctowl; the evolved form of Hoothoot. Along with the abundance of Hoothoot in "Pokémon Go," it will male trainers to gather candies and let it use to Evolve or Upgrade. The evolve form of Hoothoot is Noctowl, a Flying-type Pokémon which has an advantage over fighting Grass-type and Bug-type Pokémon. If ever you catch a Hoothoot with a great Individual Value (IV), this Pokémon can reach as high as 2040 Combat Power (CP). However, both Hoothoot and Noctowl in "Pokémon Go" are not strong facing into Electric, Steel, and rock-type Pokémon, according to Pokemon Go DB. These two Pokémon don't have a high Defense and HP to support them as gym defenders. Based on the mobile game "Pokémon Go," Noctowl doesn't have the best IV; Noctowl can only acquire an average of 65 percent IV only. In "Pokémon Go," Noctowl is quick in dodging attacks giving a trainer some enough time to evade and go in a fast move too, that slowly hit the opponent with its damage. As for Noctowl's quick move, the Pokémon has Extrasensory which is pretty quick to perform, as reported by Ranked Boost. Noctowl has an ability called Psychic as the Pokémon's charge move which is a big threat to a Bug and Grass-type opponents; making big takedowns for Pokémon such as a scythe, Exeggutor, and Pinsir. Now here's the tip. Noctowl can take out 1-2 Pokémon with the type advantage that has 1200-1800 CP in "Pokémon Go." Noctowl can break 1 Pokémon and have enough HP to spare equal type battles. You can defeat any opponent even if having a disadvantage over their Pokémon types. You'll just put Noctowl on the mid to bottom part oy your tiers and set it to be the one of your attacking team.
