Huawei Latest News & Update: Huawei P10 & P10 Plus Is Coming With An EMUI 5.1 & Android 7.2.1 at MWC 2017? By Ralphy Bonn Sim | Feb 23, 2017 06:56 AM EST The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei will be present this year's Mobile World Congress 2017 along with their two of the most awaited devices; Huawei P10 and P10 Plus this coming February 26, 2017. Huawei recently revealed with Gizbot that they are also bringing a new version of their own software layer of Android, the Huawei EMUI 5.1; this software will make its debut in MWC 2017 along with Huawei P10 and P10 Plus. It will be an updated version of EMUI 5.0 which was expected to carry the latest Android 7.2.1 Nougat version. Unfortunately, details from the said software have been unclear as of now. The fact that Huawei will now use its own customized operating system, the EMUI 5.1. By this software, it can now be predicted that the upcoming Huawei P10 and P10 Plus might be the first devices to be equipped with EMUI 5.1 pre-installed. Both Huawei P10 and P10 Plus were expected to be made with a 5.5-inch QHD 1080 x 1920 pixels display, powered by a Mali-G71 MP8 processor along with an Octa-core (2.4 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A73 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53), and might be running for Android 7.0 Nougat; as of now. These devices can be also expected to be launched with three storage variants such as 32GB, 64GGB, and 128G and carry a non-removable battery of 3100mAh along with the support for USB and microUSB 2.0. Huawei P10and P10 Plus were also expected to be made with a Leica camera sensor, has a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. According to Android Authority, both Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will look like as an upgraded version of its predecessor, the Huawei P9 where it also features a physical home button and the Leica-branded dual camera setup. Besides gray, both devices may be also available in colors such as gold, green, and blue with an estimated price at $733.02.
