Dell's Alienware now offers on the of smallest powerhouse laptop produced by the company, the Alienware 13 R3. The laptop is made with a VR compatibility system which is a small, powerful gaming laptop.

Dell's new Alienware 13 R3 is a good example of a compact gaming notebook which is also the company's first out in terms of an Intel 7th-generation Kaby Lake Core CPU that pushes 4K content to the laptop's screen without exterminating its battery life. This 13.3 inch with 400-nit OLED touchscreen brings richer colors, faster cursor and smoother interactions with its screen, according to Engadget.

In terms of the new Alienware 13 R3 screen, it possesses a decent Quad HD 2560 x 1440 resolution that gives consumers an advantage of added milliseconds. It gives you a perfect screen for a gaming laptop with its wide viewing angles, excellent contrast, and vivid colors.

According to Tech Crunch, Alienware 13 R3 also offer Intel's seventh generation Core i7-7700HQ along with a quad-core chip with 3.8GHz Turbo Boost and 6MB of cache, a 512GB PCIe SSD for storage, 16GB of 2667MHz DDr4 RAM, and also a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with a 6GB of GDDR5 memory. Its wireless connectivity features an 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 card. Alienware 13 R3 includes ports such as external GPU, HDMI, LAN, two USB-C, two USB 3.0 along with a power jack, and microphone audio jacks. Although, SD card slot is not in the list.

The Alienware 13 R3 is a perfect fit for games such as "Dishonored 2" and "Overwatch" that eats 60 frames per second with a maximum resolution and visual settings along with other high definition games "Just Cause 3," "Shadow Warrior 2," and "Battlefield 1" which uses 60 fps.

Meanwhile, Alienware 13 R3 is made with the VR-ready system and swappable with Oculus Rift or HTC Live headset. The device isn't that light or thin as what was expected, it weighs at 5.8 pounds and 0.87 inches thick at carries a price of $2,000.
