After the T-Mobile and AT&T, Samsung phones get the Android 7.0 Nougat updates, users of AT&T LG G5 will also get their Nougat update too. The Android 7.0 Nougat update has started rolling out for users of AT&T LG G5.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update for AT&T LS G5 smartphones consumes 1.5 GB of the phone and carries the build number NRD90U. The update also has the January 2017 Android Security Patch, the Android Police has reported.

GSM Arena also reported that with this update, it brings more service to its users. The update allows users to have a split-screen multitasking mode to work on. The update also improves notifications and brings in a new and improved doze mode together with various new and improved features, Phone Dog has reported.

For AT&T LG G5 users who are interested in updating their phone with Android Nougat, they are allowed to check the updates only once per day. If it does not serve their convenience, they can manually take the clock and shift it 24 hours ahead and try again the next time.

In addition to this reminder, AT&T will also allow users to download Android 7.0 Nougat and other updates only through Wi-Fi to ensure the constant flow of connection from the internet. This could also ensure them that the update would be complete.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update has been released to many carrier locked smartphones for the past few weeks. It has been most notable to Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge smartphone owners. Previously, T-Mobile was able to receive the OS update.

The LG G5 has been the latest smartphone to get the update. Sprint HTC 10 was also able to receive the update. More phones would get the update in the coming weeks if the trend of the OS update would be followed.
