Motorola Phone Leak: The Shatterproof Moto Bounce By Staff Reporter | Sep 02, 2015 12:56 AM EDT Motorola is rumored to join the trend of creating and releasing practically indestructible and extra-secure smartphones with a model that just got leaked, the Motorola Bounce. The Motorola Bounce is said to be shatterproof, thanks to the material that Motorola will use for the deviceâs Quad HD display. Its specs are said to be better than the current flagship, the Moto X Style, and there are some speculations that state that the device code named âBounceâ could actually be the Motorola Droid Turbo 2. The rumor was first leaked on Twitter by Android bleeding-edge âleakerâ @upleaks. As for the rumored specs of the Motorola Bounce, here they are: Processor/Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC RAM: 3GB GPU: Adreno 430 OS: Android Marshmallow 6.0 Internal Storage: 32GB, 64GB Display: 5.43-inch shatterproof QHD display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels Cameras: Primary: 21MP; Secondary: 5MP Battery: 3,760mAh The Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC means that the octa-core processor is made up of two quad-core processors, with the specs: 1 Quad-core ARM Cortex A57 at up to 2 GHz; and 1 Quad-core A53 with 64-bit support. This means that the Motorola Bounce may be an octa-core device which may clock up to 2GHz. The battery, said to be at 3,760mAh, may well be the largest battery in the market. With a hopefully streamlined version of the Android M, this capacity may translate to days of standby time. Motorola was a cellular phone pioneer. The brand has always been known to build the worldâs sturdiest, most abuse-resistant phone units. Though the Motorola Bounceâs form factor was criticized by some as looking too similar to Lenovoâs recent designs for the Lenovo-branded mobiles, hereâs hoping that Lenovo chooses to work to maintain Motorolaâs reputation for producing the marketâs most bleeding-edge, sturdiest, leanest, meanest mobile computing machinesâthat happen to be cellular phones, too. The tweet by @upleaks states that the Motorola Bounce will be out in December.
