Sony To Roll Out Two High-Res Mobiles
True to its recent declaration that it won’t be bowing out of the smartphone business anytime soon, Sony will soon roll out two new devices: The Xperia C5 Ultra, and the Xperia M5.
Sony is maintaining the facet it’s been known for, for decades: Its capacity to take crisp, clear, professional-grade photos. These two new models will not only be able to take pro-level shots from their main cameras, their selfie cameras also promise to take high-res pictures.
While high-definition photography serves to emphasize one’s facial imperfections, high-definition selfies may still have a market for those who are obsessed with them. The allure of taking pictures as sharp as celebrities’ Instagram photos with filters to hide away the imperfections is still a very real draw.
Both Sony mobile models are beefed up with waterproofing, as well as dust protection. For those who want this feature on their devices, these Sony models are great options.

Note that while the Sony Xperia M5 is definitely more powerful with higher specs for the CPU and the RAM, with a higher-resolution main camera and display, the Xperia C5 Ultra has a bigger screen size and has a higher-capacity battery. The front camera on the C5 Ultra also has an LED flash, which makes for better selfies in the dark.
Whichever Sony Xperia the end-user chooses, they definitely can’t go wrong with the powerful RAM and processor, as well as the high-resolution cameras. The only thing that remains to be seen is the actual speed of the devices, as Sony mobiles are notorious for their relative slowness because of their implementation of the Android OS.
