According to the latest reports from Korean sources, the Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled on August 23. A Samsung employee has confirmed to The Investor that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled in New York at a separate event in the place of the IFA just like its Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Note 7 predecessors. However, till now there is no official confirmation from Samsung. On specifications side, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to boast a 6.3-inch 2K+ Super AMOLED display along with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9. The device is said to sport 6GB of RAM, as reported b GSM Arena. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come equipped with two 12MP dual pixel sensor and OIS. It will probably be powered up by a 3300mAh battery. The upcoming phablet is most likely to be available in Black, Blue, and Gold color variants. Recently, two reliable news sources have concurrently published brand new renders of the Galaxy Note 8 design, apparently based on factory CAD schematics. The renders revealed the fingerprint scanner - which is embedded next to the camera array, just like the Galaxy S8 series. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 in the North American market, while the international model will have Samsung's own Exynos 8895. Both of these chips are manufactured by Samsung on the 10nm FinFET semiconductor architecture. In the recently published images and renders of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the front panel of the device shows off with almost no side bezels and minimal top and bottom bezels. According to the leak, there is a horizontal dual camera setup at the back. Towards the bottom, there is a USB Type-C port, speaker grille, the S Pen slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack slot.
