Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 Release, Specs, Leaks: Full HD LCD Display, Dual-Camera With 3GB RAM Could Be Seen By Harsh Soni h_soniji@rediffmail.com | Jun 30, 2017 11:16 AM EDT Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 has been making the rounds online for quite a while now. The Redmi Pro 2 is said to feature some important hardware improvements, and more details about the upcoming smartphone have surfaced online. Gizchina has obtained the specs sheet of the rumored Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2. The leaked specs sheet is said to be coming from a usually reliable source, however, it cannot be verified and should perhaps be treated with a certain amount of skepticism for now. The successor to the Redmi Pro, the Pro 2 version will feature an LCD display with 1080p resolution, which will be manufactured by TCL, as compared to the OLED display on its Redmi Pro. The leaked image reveals a dual camera setup on the Pro 2, following in the steps of its predecessor, which was also one of the first Xiaomi phones to come with the dual-camera setup. It has 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel depth sensing cameras and on the front side, there is a 5-megapixel camera. If the specs sheet is real, it says that the Redmi Pro 2 will get 3GB RAM and will have a 12MP+5MP dual camera on the back and a 16MP selfie camera on the front side. The dual camera will boast the 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor and a 5MP Samsung S5K4E8. The sensor on the front camera is again by Samsung - model number S5K3P8, as reported by GSM Arena. Other details for the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 include WiFi, gyroscope, Bluetooth, magnetometer, and accelerometer. Also particular is the RAM on this Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, 3GB manufactured by Samsung. Recently, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 had popped up on Xiaomi's official website featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The Redmi Pro was powered by the Deca-core Helio X25 processor and Xiaomi might have their reasons to shift to Qualcomm, considering the performance increase the 660 will offer.
