Now, a new report claims that the long-awaited Note-branded phablet will be announced in August. According to Reuters, the Galaxy Note 8 will be equipped with a dual-camera system and feature a marginally bigger curved display than the newly launched Galaxy S8 Plus. This piece of news aligns perfectly with the past rumors and reports. Besides, an August announcement is more probable to come to fruition unless of course, the popular South Korean smartphone manufacturer decides to deviate from its usual launch pattern for the Galaxy Note range. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come with a very large 6.3 curved screen. Samsung is playing around with the concept of dual-cameras with the upcoming Galaxy C10 expected to be the first phone to carry the feature, however, latest reports point Galaxy Note 8 with the dual camera too, as mentioned earlier, according to GSM Arena. Internally, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to run either Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 or Samsung's Exynos 8895 depending on the market. Reports also suggest that the upcoming Note 8 will be having 6GB of RAM, with this, it will be the first wide-spread Galaxy series phone to do so. The launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be watched by those in the industry with intense interest. Samsung last year had to pull the Galaxy Note 7 from stores after repeated incidents of the phone bursting into flame. Even repeated recalls failed to fix the smartphone, but Samsung is committed to moving ahead with the Note series. Apart from this, Samsung will also be launching refurbished models of the Galaxy Note 7 with a smaller 3200mAh battery in selected markets of the world. Other specs of the smartphone will remain the same as the original Galaxy Note 7, with the retail price expected to be around $600.
