15-Inch Macbook Pro Could Well Shape Up To Be Apple’s Answer To Critics By Suraj staff@droidreport.com | Jun 09, 2017 02:41 PM EDT The big announcement from WWDC 2017 has come in the form of the new 15-inch MacBook Pro. Many were interested as to what Apple will do with the new MacBook 2017, and surprisingly, one of the biggest changes is the addition of Intel's latest gen processor. Easily the biggest change is the addition of Kaby Lake processors- Intel's seventh generation chipset, as reported by trusted reviews. With the inclusion of this powerhouse processor, the entire line up for MacBooks could experience a change. According to Engadget, it has been seven months since the first MacBook Pro with a touch bar and more are still to follow. Other than that nothing much has changed with the new MacBook Pro 2017. The RAM and memory have seen no upgrade since the last time either. With the addition of the Intel's latest generation processors, the clock speed has received a small boost from 2.6 GHz to 2.8 GHZ. The internal graphics although have been altered from Radeon Pro 450 to Radeon Pro 555, Intel HD Graphics 530 or Radeon Pro 455 to Intel HD graphics 630 or Radeon Pro 560 and Intel HD graphics 530 to Intel HD graphics 630. Although these slight changes have not warranted a price increase from Apple. The price remains at $2300/ $2799. Unfortunately for many users, the memory is still constant at 16 GB and the internal storage also remaining the same with 256/ 512 GB. Although the base 13-inch model gets a bump of memory from 1866 MHzto 2133 MHz. The most notable difference until now is the new processor and the small tweaks in the graphics area. Other than this there have been no prominent alterations from last year's MacBook Pro. Apple has mentioned a new in-house chip to improve the performance of the latest MacBook Pro. The latest 15 inch MacBook Pro is not a much major upgrade from last year so its left to see the new chip Apple produces to enhance the performance and stability.
